Staff/Teacher Appreciation Chair or Co-chairs
Coordinate with principal and President to organize staff/teacher appreciation events for the First Day of School, a designated week in the Fall (usually Parent/Teacher conference week) and national staff/teacher appreciation week in the Spring. Verify the event budget and obtain approval before purchasing supplies. Decorate the staff room and organize volunteers to bring in donations of low cost, non-monetary gestures, food or drinks for the FFE staff. Also, help promote (signs, flyers, PTC newsletter, FB and website entries, as needed) for each event. Coordinate with Room Parent Chair as needed. These events have lots of parent involvement, we simply need a point of contact to oversee it! Complete thank you notes to parents who donated items throughout the week. Work with VP of Volunteers/Membership to create a Sign-Up Genius for your event. Complete thank you notes for the event.
